We are the BUGEATERS FC, a men's semi-pro soccer team based in Nebraska. Bugeaters FC compete in the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) at the 4th level of US Soccer.

We are a community based club focusing on the development of both collegiate and local elite athletes.

Club launched Academy of Excellence to partner with local youth clubs

Omaha, NE (May 24, 2019) - Bugeaters FC today announced its 2019 Community Club Partnerships.  The club launched an ‘Academy of Excellence’ which gives local youth clubs and its teams access to matches, clinics, a behind the scenes look at the club and sessions with its coaches and staff.

Initial partner clubs include:

  • Bellevue Soccer Club / Bellevue, NE

  • Capital Soccer Association (CSA) / Lincoln, NE

  • Future Kids / Lincoln and Omaha, NE

  • Gretna Soccer Club / Gretna, NE

  • Infinite Sports World (ISW) / Ralston, NE

  • Papillion Soccer Club / Papillion, NE

  • Police Athletics for Community Engagement (PACE) / Omaha, NE

  • Nebraska Futbol Club (NFC) / Roja / Omaha, NE

  • Southeast Soccer Club (SES) / Murray, NE

“We are excited to be establishing a local community program,” Bugeaters General Manager Jordan Bartels said.  “It’s something that we have aimed to do and now have the means to begin building it. We are excited to have so many clubs at the outset of this program.”

The partnership has long been in its planning phase, but has now been launched and will continue to develop.

“Bugeaters exists to help build and develop the game in Nebraska,” Head Coach Scott Robertson said.  “I decided to champion the new program and youth involvement. We have had a lot of demand and expect to see it become something special.”
