We are the BUGEATERS FC, a men's semi-pro soccer team based in Nebraska. Bugeaters FC compete in the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) at the 4th level of US Soccer.

We are a community based club focusing on the development of both collegiate and local elite athletes.

BUGEATERS PLAYER JOINS ENGLISH NON-LEAGUE CLUB ON TRIAL

Bugeaters Aaron Onion visits Bradford Park Avenue.

Lincoln, Nebraska – July 10, 2018 - Bugeaters FC have announced that midfielder Aaron Onion has joined National League North side Bradford Park Avenue (in England) on a week long visit.

“We are excited to see Aaron get an opportunity,” club Founder Jonathan Collura said. “He has had an outstanding season with us and I was pleased to help set up this visit. We will continue to develop partnerships that will give us a competitive advantage and further develop talent."

Bradford Park Avenue play in the National League North at the second step of non-league football (6th division) in England.

“This has been an amazing opportunity to learn and experience non-league football in England,” Aaron Onion said.  “Spending the week in Bradford (England) and playing at such a high standard will help me further develop.”  

Onion played last season with Nebraska Wesleyan University and has transferred to Western Illinois.  He hopes to return to the Bugeaters in 2019.
